About the DropTop Single 29 Light
The Single Light 29″ is the most compact DropTop we make. A 29″ ultrawide gives you meaningfully more horizontal workspace than a standard 24″ enough to run a few applications side by side without switching, in a unit that sits neatly in even the smallest room. Arrives ready for self-assembly so you choose exactly how and where your screen and accessories are installed. The same sustainable EGGER MFC board, the same clean finish, the same considered details as every DropTop.

The DropTop Single Light 29″ is a wall-mounted fold-out home office desk compatible with a 29″ ultrawide monitor or a standard 24″ monitor. It is the most compact model in the DropTop range, designed for smaller rooms, spare bedrooms, or any space where a full-size home office setup needs to fit without dominating.
Quality hinges and soft-open pistons are rated to 50kg. The 2cm cable cavity and drillable back panel allow for clean, flexible installation. Colour-matched cover caps conceal all fixings. A slim monitor mount is included as standard.

And the main reason we love it is because it is carbon negative: the wood stores more CO₂ than is emitted during its production and transport.
What EGGER have achieved is genuinely remarkable: a board that performs without compromises in every measurable way – scratch resistance, abrasion resistance, colour retention, structural integrity – while being built almost entirely from recycled wood and forestry by-products. It was once considered an impossible combination, they proved otherwise. All wood is from verified, legal sources and all plants are FSC and PEFC certified. Which monitor sizes are supported?
What is the difference between the monitor mount options?
We offer three monitor mount options for the DropTop Light™.
Tilt mount: A fixed mount with vertical tilt only. Suitable for monitors up to 6 cm deep.
Slim mount: Designed for deeper monitors, allowing up to 8 cm depth, with limited adjustability.
Extendable mount: Fully adjustable with tilt, swivel and rotation. Suitable for monitors up to 5 cm deep and required if you want laptop storage behind the screen.
Does the DropTop Light™ come with artwork and monitors?
Artwork is only included with the DropTop™ Classic range. The DropTop™ Light does not include technology such as monitors or docking stations. It is designed to allow you to install your own equipment in the way that suits you.
Can I install this on my wall type?
The DropTop™ is designed for secure installation on brick or plasterboard/drywall walls. All required fixing packs are included to support a straightforward installation.
How much weight can the DropTop™ support?
