What material is the DropTop made out of?
The DropTop home office desk is crafted from high-density, premium-quality particleboard made using a mix of recycled wood from the forestry industry. Sustainability is at the heart of Pith & Stem’s products, the boards are locally sourced to reduce CO₂ emissions, FSC and PEFC certified, and designed to leave a minimal environmental footprint.
The particleboard is lightweight yet strong, making it easy to mount while offering excellent durability. It is also scratch-resistant and features antimicrobial properties for a long-lasting, hygienic finish.
Can I get Artwork with a DropTop Light?
Artwork is only included with the DropTop Classic range.
Is it possible to order the DropTop Light range without the stays (the metal rods on the sides of the desk)?
The DropTop Light fold-down desk range is designed as a flat-pack range made for easy home assembly. The stays provide added support for the top when it is open, making them an integral part of the design and unable to be removed.
If I opt for a dock, will I need external software installed on my computer?
If you have purchased a DropTop Classic with the i-Tec Dock Pro, you will need to download the relevant DisplayLink drivers for your Laptop/MacBook to allow full use of the extended screen displays. The i-Tec Dock Mini does not require drivers or other software to be downloaded.

Why can't I order the DropTop Classic with both the dock and additional sockets?
The DropTop Classic can not be configured with both the dock and additional sockets due to the size limitations within the central cable housing.
Is technology included in the DropTop desk?
The DropTop Classic range features integrated tech built within the desk, with the Single Classic including two international plug sockets and the Duo Classic offering four.
Each monitor uses one socket, leaving the others available for your devices. You can add technology, such as monitors or docking stations, in the configurator on the product page, or choose to install your own. The DropTop Classic runs on a single removable power cable.
The DropTop Light range includes cable management solutions, enabling you to route your tech through the DropTop, ready for connection to your devices.
Does the DropTop require self-assembly?
The DropTop Classic range comes fully assembled and simply needs mounting on your wall. The DropTop Light range comes flat-packed for easy home assembly and installation.
